Our first dun, and she’s a grulla! We’d like to thank Judy Hinman of Amberfields Morgans of New York for allowing us to purchase our long-awaited grulla filly: Amberfields Indigo Skye.
Skye was born on March 27, 2006. She is out of the black mare Amberfields October Skye, and by the bay dun stallion FPS Success Made In Dun (also known as Elvis). She is a very friendly little filly, always ready to search your pockets for treats. Skye is definitely the “quiet one” in our little herdlet of Morgans... |

Skye’s San Diego arrival... |
|
Skye did really well on her very long trailer ride from New York to California. She walked off just as cool as a cucumber, and settled in to her new surroundings easily. She is such a good-minded filly - nothing seems to upset her... |

Skye loves water, treats, hay, cookies, scratches, grooming and even has no problem with getting her feet picked. She was wonderful for the vet, even while getting wormed and subjected to two shots. She is incredibly easygoing and nearly unflappable...we’re sure to have a lot of fun with her as she grows up! |
